The full Festival schedule is now posted on our website! You can plan your time in the Festival Village and not miss a beat. See when and where Festival Poets will be reading, as well as what topics they will weigh in on, and who will be performing alongside them. This is a great opportunity to discover new voices while seeing your favorites.

Throughout the four days of the Festival there will be varied and exciting programming – truly something for everyone. The opening Poetry Sampler on Thursday night is a kickoff that is not to be missed – a diverse lineup of poetry greats and four US Poets Laureate will all read on the Prudential Hall stage.

Saturday morning Galway Kinnell will be giving voice to Rainer Maria Rilke’s masterpiece, the Duino Elegies. Kinnell will be reading his praised translation in its entirety, which has never been done before and is sure to be a legendary performance.

On Sunday Martín Espada and Nancy Morejón will be accompanied by musician Bobby Sanabria & Quarteto Aché to give voice to Guillén, Neruda and Lorca. Sanabria, a Latin Jazz percussionist and bandleader, is sure to add even more excitement to the bilingual celebration of a rich history of Spanish-speaking poets.

We encourage you to do some delving into the program and see what excites you. Use our website as a resource to look up unfamiliar names that you see reading with your favorite poets. Explore the culturally significant venues which make up the Festival Village.

We look forward to seeing you October 7-10.
